the barbenheimer experience i had was so funny i saw oppenheimer first and in a quiet scene we could literally hear ken singing in the theater next to us and then during barbie it when was quiet we could hear a fucking explosion coming from the oppenheimer screening
wow players having to stand in lines for a quest because a relevant npc can only talk to one player at a time. is the funniest image on the planet
i need to correct this: wow classic doesn’t have any npcs that can only talk to one player at a time. these lines actually formed for a quest npc that players had to kill to complete the objective. knowing that i think this image is even funnier.
Muriel Fahrion, the creator of Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears, was under a work for hire contract when she created them and as a result has received no residuals over the last 40+ years. If you like either of those properties, consider purchasing something from her website. She has art and cute jewelry!
I love Rick (obviously), so I’m not going to get on here and say “Nooo stop making episodes about my favorite character!!”, but the series feels imbalanced without Morty. I mean, if nothing else, he’s also part of Rick’s lore. He’s Prime’s grandson. You could do a lot with that: Morty shows similarities to Prime, Morty teams up with Prime (don’t know why he would, but it’s possible), Prime kidnaps him to bait C-137, etc. Maybe there’s even another twist about Morty and his connection to Prime that we don’t know about.
But that’s not the only reason Morty’s important–he has his own issues and internal conflicts that he needs to face. Unfortunately, he’s currently stuck in a cycle of blowing up in one episode, then shutting down in the next. He might not have “lore” like Rick (or maybe he does, I wouldn’t be shocked if we get another Morty-related twist before the series ends), but he’s still valuable because he’s a human being. And he’s literally the other half of the show!
